About Us
Mission Against Malaria Society is a Registered Canadian Charity (BN # 84242 9623 RR0001) that aims in the prevention and awareness of Malaria in endemic regions. We are incorporated under the BC Society Act as a non-profit organization (File number S-54040). All donations are 100% tax deductible.
What is particularly specific about our campaign is the focus on immediate prevention of malaria and long-term awareness, while taking into account women’s rights and gender-specific obstacles in obtaining access to malaria treatment. For this reason, our efforts are aimed primarily towards children in boarding schools, women, and large families.
Purpose: to develop or promote public health in East Africa by educating and instructing the public on prevention of, and curative measures for, health problems, in particular malaria, and by researching and documenting changes in the health of the community.
